Make Your Own Wedding Rings
With guidance from Jane you can create your own wedding rings. In this one of a kind experience you will have the exclusive use of Jane’s fully equipped jewellery studio and be assisted through the process step by step. Enjoy creating sentimental pieces of jewellery to be worn and cherished.
The Make Your Own Wedding Ring workshop is £330 per couple.
Additional to the workshop fee is the cost of your raw materials. This can vary depending on the metal and design you choose. Before making your booking Jane can take you through the process, discuss material costs and design ideas. Once all details are finalised Jane will provide a more accurate price for each ring.
Metals
In our workshops we are able to work in a variety of metals. 9ct yellow and white gold, 18ct yellow and white gold and sterling silver can be made on the day from the raw material. If you wish to create a platinum band the process is slightly different. We can create a silver master, which is then sent to be cast- this can take up to 4 weeks after your workshop and will cost £100 per ring on top of the metal cost. 9ct Yellow/ White Gold 2mm-4mm Band. £200- £490 4mm-6mm Band. £380- £800
18ct Yellow Gold 2mm-4mm Band. £500- £1200 4mm-6mm Band. £1000- £2000
18ct White Gold 2mm-4mm Band. £550- £1300 4mm-6mm Band. £1100-£2200
This workshop normally takes around 3-4 hours and is ideal for beginners. You will learn basic skills and can experiment with finishes to make your ring a true one of a kind.
Additions

HallMarking
Hallmarking of rings of the same metal is £50 and for 2 rings of different metals the cost is £75.00. You can choose to have the traditional marks or traditional marks with Jane's sponsor mark.

Engraving
Engraving is priced on request and starts from £60. You can add a personal touch with a date, initials or a sentimental word or phrase.

Stone Setting
Stones can be added to your ring by flush setting into the metal. The cost is £25 per setting plus the price of your stone. This must be determined before your workshop to ensure the ring is the right measurements to house your chosen stone.
For rings that require any of the above additions you will need to leave the rings with us after your workshop. Please allow 4 weeks for these to be completed. We can then arrange delivery or collection.
The workshop fee includes the use of our Glasgow studio and tools with guidance and assistance from Jane. We also provide refreshments throughout and photos of your day in the workshop.
